Bold Nature, enjoys sour things but not spicy

Born as Ezekiel in his pack on Route 114, he was the oldest and strongest Lotad. He worked hard to prove himself worthy enough to be the clan leader, strong enough to even ward off the Swablu. But before he could be voted in by the Lombre, a trainer named Brant encountered and caught him with a net ball.
He was quite depressed about the situation as he was whisked away from his home and the life he knew. Brant named him Goddard and tried to battle his father-- losing because of Brant's poor judgement of the situation. This is when Goddard began to ignore commands from Brant, finally the trainer traded him even farther away from his home near Meteor Falls- all the way to Kanto. His new owner, a man in Fushia City, had no intentions at battling, he only sent Goddard out to fetch milk from the Mankey and Miltank for his darling Persian.

Goddard was not only outraged at his new living conditions of slavery, but found the water uninhabitable to himself. The poor Lotad was quite miserable. In this new life, he tried in vain to escape at various times, only stopped by the guard dog, Manectric. The owner obtained a greyish egg which hatched into a Munchlax, becoming his new papered pet. Goddard was forced to swim to the bottom of the ocean to collect seaweed for the pokemon's voracious appetite, so Almos adored him. One time when trying to swim away out of Manectric's watch, Almos jumped in the water to swim as well but nearly drowned had Goddard not ferried him back to shore. Almos loved Goddard like an older brother or fatherly figure, but was saddened by Goddard's resilience to leave. He decided to help and fought off Manectric so that Goddard could escape, evolving in the process.

Though Goddard feels that Almos is more of a burden and annoyance than a friend, he can't help but continue to look after the young sloth and his well being, especially since he owes his freedom to it. He wanders Kanto with the giant in search of clean water to make a habitat in and finally find peace again.

Quirky, loves any kind of food (GPX+ varient is Hasty, likes sweet food)

Almos acts his age, even as a grown Snorlax. Fully evolved, he has taken on useful techniques in Thunderpunch and Gunk Shot, though he still dislikes to battle. He'd rather save the energy and watch Goddard bat at the plate, cheering him on. He really can eat just about anything, especially raw seafood. He doesn't like bodies of water because of the time he almost drowned, yet strangely loves anything that comes out of it. Almos has even eaten Tentacool, Chinchou, and Sheldder that have washed up on the beach, much to Goddard's gut-wrenching horror.
Just as Mankey and Miltank from back at the house, he was born in captivity and thus is clueless about the dangers and threats of the wild, he only comes along because he does not want to part from Goddard. Almos will use Goddard as a ferry most of the time, and though Goddard does tire of such a task, he takes pride in that it will make him stronger.

Trainers tend to try and catch Almos, but Goddard keeps an eye out for such threats again. Even his previous trainer, Brant, has shown an interest in capturing the glutton. Goddard knows Almos would never last in a serious match because he's such a big baby.</sub>
