Dragonair + Purugly VS Mothim

Myyyy goodness.

So, with GB's announcement that there will be no extension to Round 3, I was naturally nervous. ;;;; My poor partner ~LightShadowArtist is sick and she has school coming to a close on top of internet troubles. She said she will finish it, and I trust her to do so, but here is my backup "plan" if you will. GB was real nice about what all this meant, and gave me some tips which I thank him for, but I've gone ahead with this picture just the same.



So now I've drawn 1 comic page, edited that same 4 times with 3 different pokemon and 1 different trainer, drawn 3 additional pages to that single page and edited the pokemon in ALL of them once, drawn the entry we really ARE going to try and submit, and now this. Which also had two initial sketches with 4 different pokemon... XD;;;;


So for Round3, I've fully drawn 4 of Kitteh's pokemon AND 4 of Vron's pokemon, 1 of another trainer's pokemon, 2 of my partner's pokemon and 3 of my own pokemon, not to mention the trainers themselves.





....It's a good thing I love drawing. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Hey, if I don't have to submit it to UBF, I'll just send it over to #PokemonDaily anyway~


Anyway about this picture, I decided to try to use line weight to emphasize depth and perspective... I think it came out good! Too bad I didn't use the pen tool layer in SAI when I started, I ended up redrawing over all of those lines....
Also, Dragonair and Purugly are poisoned, hence their pained expressions.
